The Latest from the Shop

Every Saturday from 8-1 we will be at the Meridian Farmers Market which is located just off Marsh Road, behind the Meridian Mall (look for the tall clock tower). We'll be bringing our yummy pies, cookies, muffins, and scones. We can also take phone orders for fruit pies that you can pick up at the Market on Saturday... just be sure when you order to tell the person taking your order that it's for the Meridian Market. We hope to see you there!

We will be closed on Monday May 26th so that our staff can spend time with family and friends. We wish you all peaceful Memorial Day weekend. 

It's also finally fresh Asparagus season at the shop! That means that we'll be making our amazing Roasted Asparagus sandwiches. If you've never tried one, be sure to stop in to try one. If you're already a fan, stop by soon, as asparagus season doesn't last long!

We had the honor of shipping a pie all the way to Koka City, Japan. Ko Nishio and family ordered a Cherry Berry Berry Pie. They loved the sweet American treat and were honored that Anthony carried it all the way there!

Stephanie and Sharie went down to Florida to enter our pies in the National Pie Championships. (Linda wasn't able to go, due to the "Night for Notables" event at the State Library this weekend.) We recently learned  from Stephanie that our yummy Coconut Chess pie won first place! We are all over-the-moon!!! We posted a bunch of pictures on our Facebook page... check them out. Wooohooo!!!

"Sweetie-licious Pies" was awarded the 2014 Michigan Notable Book Award!  Annually, the Library of Michigan selects 20 books that best celebrate the good things about Michigan and the Great Lakes region. The program puts out a press release promoting the titles, holds the "Night for Notables" event on May 26th to formally recognize the authors and publishers, and coordinates 50 library visits by authors across the state. Linda will be speaking (and signing copies of her cookbook) at the following libraries in the area... Berk...
