My favorite pie from sweetie licious is the Banana Cream! I just had it a couple weeks ago when i messed up slicing a pie and one piece just fell apart. I decided to try it since i love bananas and it was to die for!!! Sooo good!
Your Favorite Sweetie-licious Memory
My Favorite memory is just getting to work at such a great place like sweetie licious. I love that it was mostly all women and we talked about whatever was on our minds, It felt more like a family group then just people i work with. I will miss everyone so much when i move back to Delaware but I am so happy that my time in michigan was spent at the little pie shop in dewitt!
Your Favorite Cooking and Baking Memory
I am not a big cook or baker but my for some reason I can NEVER get my moms recipes right. My mom is a great cook of savory foods and in college i would go home at least once a week to eat dinner with my parents. Not only to spend time with my folks but to get some of that delicious home cooked food. My favorite is chicken corn soup and her chicken casserole. I will try try again to get them right.
Your Favorite Family Recipe to Share, History of Recipe
Favorite recipe is Grandma Minck's (Ryans moms mom) Chicken Parm
- Take chicken breasts and cut them into thin strips.
- Beat them with a meat mallet
- Then dip the strips into beaten eggs and bread crumbs, I use the store brand but you could make your own
- Fry them in Olive oil and a stick of butter.
- Place cooked chicken into a pan about an inch deep.
- Cover them with Contenta tomato sauce, or use your own, and fresh wet mozzarella.
- Bake at 350 until cheese is melted.
