Reviews

“Linda Hundt brings you the sweetness of pie and blends it with tradition, family, nostalgia, and fabulous recipes into one thoroughly all American pie cookbook.”  -- Debbie Macomber, #1 New York Times bestselling author

“Linda Hundt is like the world's greatest pie librarian and Sweetie-licious Pies is a colorful, approachable, pie-lovers dream. It’s as if Linda collected the best possible pie recipes from the world’s coolest grandmothers, vintage church supper cookbooks, and route 66 diners, then sprinkled them with her own unique and talented voodoo. Get ready to put this book in your ‘most frequently used’ part of your kitchen library.”  -- Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito, authors of With the glide of a rolling pin, Baked Elements: Our 10 Favorite Ingredients.

"Sweetie-licious Pies transports you to Small Town America, where pies cool on the windowsill, there’s a watering can in the garden, and everyone gathers for family dinner. Linda Hundt is truly changing the world, one pie at a time. Make mine a slice of The Farmette’s Blueberry Basil Cream Pie!”  -- Judith Fertig, BBQ Queen and author of Heartland: The Cookbook

"Having made the two-hour trip to Sweetie-licious Pie Pantry a handful of times over the past year (and enjoying a variety of pies/cookies/cupcakes, too), I ordered this cookbook on a whim. I'm absolutely thrilled with it, and I look forward to getting a lot of use out of the recipes in the upcoming holiday season. I thoroughly enjoyed the charming backstories that the author provided for every dessert, and I was also impressed with the gorgeous photography- this could easily double as both a cookbook and a coffee table book. Overall, I highly recommend this cookbook for pie professionals and sweet-toothed amateurs alike." -- B. Wooden

"I have more than 1,000 cook books and I am pleased to have added Linda Hundt's "Sweetie-licious Pies: Eat Pie. Love Life". I've read every word of it, eaten many of the pies and I am completely enchanted and inspired by Linda Hundt and the totality of this book and this is why I'll be buying a half dozen more to give as Christmas gifts." -- Stephanie Whitbe

"This is a beautiful pie cookbook filled with recipes from Linda's family and friends. I have already made several pies and my husband thinks they are the best I have ever made. (Note, we have been married 50 years and that was quite a compliment.) The cookbook would make a wonderful gift for a special cook." -- Linda Sjolund

"Enjoyed the down home appeal of this lovely book... However, the pie recipes were spectacular. who would have thought to put peaches and apples together...heavenly. My mother baked pies, I bake pies, everyone loved my pies.... the crust recipes in this book moved my pies up several clicks on the awesome level. ENJOY!" -- Diana Diesch
