Today was the first snowfall in DeWitt. We got over 10" of it. It was amazingly beautiful. The Snowman Our snowman, our snowman. We've built him up in haste; We knew not when the frost might break. We had no time to waste; So first we gathered up the snow and piled in a heap; For melons, ice and snowmen are things that will not keep. Unfortunately the old guy thought the exhaust hood over our oven was a chimney and he tried to come down it. He got stuck and Linda had to help get him unstuck. From time to time we'll be posting other photos of Santa as he helps us get ready for Christmas.

It's the holiday season and we're now making Ginger Folks, complete with raisin eyes, cinnamon candy buttons, and a drizzle of our special glaze. If you remember your mom or grandma baking them, be sure to try ours... they are delicious!
